Today’s biggest developments
  • Two of the quarantined passengers aboard the “Diamond Princess” cruise ship died among fierce criticism of how the Japanese government has dealt with the quarantine.
  • Yesterday saw the slowest rate of growth (0.6% day over day) since the Chinese government first began reporting figures in mid-January.
  • The two infected individuals initially reported in Iran yesterday have apparently died. Twenty-five others are quarantined in the same hospital.
