Prognosis
Attention is moving away from China, where numbers were never really very reliable anyway, and toward the rest of the world. While not formally classified as a pandemic yet, COVID-19’s intractable march outward and ability to pop up in unexpected places has the hallmarks of one.

The economic and political implications of coronavirus are just beginning to ripple out. If you work in a manufacturing job that gets products from China, it would be sensible to ensure you have enough savings to skip a few paychecks.
I don't think people appreciate just how much the coronavirus outbreak can upend supply chains and really hurt the economy quickly.
